The Storm is Passing Over

I too like Amy, love to make TO DO LISTS! No, seriously I make one for everything. (Packing, chores, groceries, school work, future trips etc.) Ask anyone that knows me and they will tell you that this is where my OCD rears its ugly head!

On a more serious note, this past week has been less than desirable. My procrastination has really gotten the best of me. I was looking so forward to our meeting and the special events that I put off a lot off things which I have and will be paying for all week. I was hurrled off my mountain top come early 6 AM! Amazing grace and it's sweet melody are no longer dancing through my head. I think I'll try sleeping with my hymnal tonight -maybe it'll put me back in a state of bliss. (I have been studying diffusion and osmosis. Let's experiment tonight -shall we?)

Here's is my To Do List for the week in "Eeyore" style:
  1. Take my first Microbiology Lab Practical
  2. Write a 500 word commentary for Development Psychology
  3. Study a Liberal Professors Rules for Rearing Children
  4. Turn in my Nursing School Applications
  5. Tell the World Why I want to be a Nurse (in 2-3 pages)

poor Brit! I hope you are able to get through all that work! As for your lists, it's really a good practice to have! Even if you do border on the OCD side :)

Dear, Dear Borrowed Daughter.
You are doomed to a life of organization. I'm soooo sorry for you. It's not the fact that you put off....but its a list that you can't put down. You will never be able to let it lie as long as there is anything outstanding on that list and no matter how many other lists there are. You will drive yourself and others crazy completeing thoes lists. From one long time " to Do List" person to another. Put this on your to do list, There are some excellent sites out there on the internet with all kinds of lists in all sorts of designs. If we are going to be OCD then lets do it in style.

You know, you will miss this crazy aspect of papers and stuff when you are done with school. Believe it or not. So here is my advice enjoy the crazy semi-organization of it all. Yes, even the papers.

See the difference in our "To Do Lists" right now, is that half of mine starts over everyday, and the other half starts over every Monday. Your's changes each and every day, as you learn new things and have new oppertunities to write on new ideas.

So enjoy this, trust me the cleaning house "to do list" is SOOOOOOO boring.

Ha Ha to my dad's comment! Yes, microsoft has some awesome downloads for lists! I have a housecleaning list that sure looks good on paper! :) (In case you all didn't catch that, I was hinting that lists don't work for me!) LOL

BD (Borrowed Dad :)- You've got me cracking up over here especially after the Brother Chef Ulmer comment. I'm going to look into making my lists "fancier!"
