Happy Father's Day!

To my one and only Papa Bear,
Daddy-O you have always been there for me when I need ya to be. You amaze me with your wit and your quick gangster come backs. :) You make me proud to call you Papa Bear! As much as I may be embarrassed about your “odd” things you do I honestly don’t know what I would do without you and would be lost without you in my life. I love the moments that you sing/howl in the shower and we can hear all the way in the living room, the Sunday morning karaoke sessions with Carrie Underwood and the many priceless moments and giggles from the backseat of our road trips. You have always been there for me whether it was taking me to the store to pick something up or taking me to the many football games and standing out in the rain so I can stay and watch the game. Even at this very moment as I’m writing this blog I love you for the way you act all sneaky and try to take a peak at what I’m writing and then when I tell you to go away you give me that little grin of yours. :) So here’s to the padre who has provided me many giggles and grins throughout my life, Happy Father’s Day!
There is also a very special person who may not be blood related to me but I considered to be such important role model in my life that I will forever have a special place in my heart for. Most of you know this wonderful person that I call Borrowed Dad. :)
Borrowed Dad you are such a special father like figure to me! You always make me smile when I read your comments on our blog. I’m glad to call you my Borrowed Dad! It is such a great feeling to know that I have such a kind and thoughtful brother in Christ to be there for me.

Yea I know what ya mean girl! Borrowed Dad is a friend of ours from Little Union PBC who comments on our blog and Britt came up with the nickname Borrowed Dad because he is always giving us fatherly advice. :) We love ya too! I will have to email you pictures of her new hair. :)

That was a very sweet tribute to your dad, both the words and the slideshow. I'm sure he appreciates it very much.

My dad passed away 16 years ago, and I still miss him. It's not as difficult as it was at first, when I wasn't married, but there are still days -- like the anniversary of his death, Father's Day -- when I miss him more than usual.

But I am very thankful for the Godly example he left for us, the same example your father is providing for you. My dad wrote in my autograph book: "Always contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3). I pray that both our families will continue to contend for THE faith.

I think I'm going to CRY...... What A great Fathers Day. I started Reading your Blog and was so intrigued with your love and admiration for Brother Ulmer, Who I admire and respect and I think the world of and then I drop down and read about Borrowed Dad. What a sweet thing for you to say. You and Your Whole family are such a joy to be around, that you bring out the best in others. It's an honor and a privilage and a blessing to be around you guys and to know you. I had a wonderful Fathers Day My self and My children are so sweet and wonderful and I just don't know how God can Be so great to me and Bless me so wonderfully and then to grant me the love and fellowship of such precious young ladies as you and your sister and My sweet Sister Dani, I feel I can say as the Appostle, I am of all men Blessed. Thank You for The Invitation to little Zions July meeting. I'm looking forward to the meeting and seeing each one of you. IF The Lord is willing, we plan to be there. By the way now that I occupy this special place of Borrowed Dad, does this mean that I will get to help Brother "Papa Bear" give you away at your wedding? I can just see it now.... Preacher says " Who Giveth This Woman To Be Wed" Papa Bear says " Her Mother and I and Borrowed Dad Do" How sweet, I am already crying....Another advantage, If there were a son in law store, I could not have picked out better son in laws than my daughters picked out, so I'm convinced that you will pick out a great help mate too. Thank you again for the wonderful words.
In Gods Love

Borrowed Dad.
