Spring Break is finally here!

This week is my spring break! I'm so excited! I certainly started it off great with Mikey's birthday party on Friday. We had such an amazing time we didn't stop one minute to rest and take a breath. Here are some pictures from the party.
I love my little Chorus nerds! The girls of the party.
Joe and Dylan playing GuitarHero.
Well let's see how many people we can fit in the hot tub. ha.

The Obedient Wife

I found this on a fellow blogger site today, just thought I would share.

"The Obedient Wife"
There was a man who had worked all his life, had saved all of his money, and was a real miser when it came to his money. Just before he died, he said to his wife...'When I die, I want you to take all my money and put it in the casket with me. I want to take my money to the afterlife with me.'
And so he got his wife to promise him, with all of her heart, that when he died, she would put all of the money into the casket with him.
Well, he died. He was stretched out in the casket, his wife was sitting there - dressed in black, and her friend was sitting next to her. When they finished the ceremony, and just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said, 'Wait just a moment!' She had a small metal box with her; she came over with the box and put it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down and they rolled it away.
So her friend said, 'Girl, I know you were not foolish enough to put all that money in there with your husband.' The loyal wife replied, 'Listen, I'm a Christian; I cannot go back on my word. I promised him that I was going to put that money into the casket with him.' You mean to tell me you put that money in the casket with him?? 'I sure did,' said the wife. I got it all together, put it into my account, and wrote him a check.... If he can cash it, then he can spend it.'

My beautiful sister got her hair drastically cut recently. It's something that she has been wanting to do for quite some time. She no longer looks like the youngin' in the family!

Happy Easter!

As the years go by the Easter activities at the Ulmer house get less and less. :( This year I decorated eggs all by myself :( Aww! What poor deprived child she has to decorate eggs all by herself. ha. No I'm not that deprived of a child, Britt wasn't home when I was doing them and Mom was helping Daddy because he has been rather needy this weekend.

For those of you that didn't know Dad had to go in for surgery and have an implant done on his tooth. So he has been in a great deal of pain lately and has been loopy at that because of all the pain meds he is on. Ha. It serves as great entertainment too. Just kidding. I know he is in pain and needs his medicine :) He is doing better now but is still trying to get everything out of his surgery that he can from us. He is a bit spoiled, I guess you could say. :) Since I last posted, I have gotten a haircut and when i say haircut I don't mean just a trim off the split ends I mean cut, as a matter of a fact it was about 6 inches. Brittany will be posting pictures that she took of me before and after later on.

As far as actually hunting Easter eggs around our house, that was put to bed about 3 or 4 years ago. :( Since I'm the youngest of the Ulmer grandkids we have created a new tradition of going out into the yard and feeding the eggs to the dogs.

After coloring eggs, me and mom made our Bunny cake. It is the most adorable thing ever feel free to take the idea and use it for yourself next year. It's fun to make too! We have apparently (as informed by Mom) have been making this cake for Easter's every now and then for quite some years.

I hope you all have a blessed Easter and are safe! Don't eat too much candy and boiled eggs! I sure know that I won't be eating any boiled eggs! Blehh! No thanks I will pass on that! :)

It was love at first sight.

I have recently discovered that I am a lot better at shooting nature then I am at shooting people. I was over at Grandma's today and the neighbor's mini horses were out so me and Britt went and fed them and of course and ran to get my camera out of the house. To see all of the pictures go to my photography blog.

Here's to you Rach, Sara and Hannah!

Yippee! I'm so excited!

While my sister is enjoying the beach and all that fairy tale stuff, I will be stuck in school all week and to add on top of that it's FCAT week. Not that I have ever worried about whether or not I would pass it, it's just the fact that I have to take it. :) So as for me I'm not quite sure how much blogging I will doing next week. Although the teacher aren't allowed to give homework next week so I will not be busy at home just at school.

Hooray Hoorah

The midterm hoopla is over! It's all smooth sailing from here. No tests, quizzes or papers until after Spring Break. I am thrilled to spend the week -a full 7 days semi- worry free!

Now that I've got a break, I can start on my fun "To Do's!"

1. Study Physiology and Microbiology poolside (not that it's fun but it HAS to be done)

2. Watch Chick Flicks

3. Dance around the House in my PJ's while eating Butter Pecan Icecream

4. Transform our kitchen into a bakery

5. Make my dear Mama wish I was in school (She just LOVES it when I am home with her)

6. Drift off to a Fairytale in South Georgia

I apologize for my less than uplifting tone in my last "List" post. I seemed to have lost my zest these past two weeks. Be not dismayed- I'm back in FULL FORCE! Perhaps if I had studied more and blogged less I could have been a little more on top of things. Nah, I shall continue procrastinating.

The Drawbacks to Being a Beachbum

With Spring Break approaching, my ears were drawn to this story.

Magic Game

I must admit I didn't get that many good pictures of the Magic game. I was almost considering not even posting them but I knew that I told BD that I would so this one is for you BD! :)
Stuff was what I used my entertainment at the game pretty much. Sorry to all the basketball fans out there, I'm just not a basketball girl I mean I guess if I actually watched I would get it better but i was too busy watching Stuff going crowd surfing and all that random stuff. :)

Stuff holding the peanuts for the lady, then getting away with peanuts, getting farther and farther away from the lady, then crowd surfing handing out the lady's peanuts.

Take a look at My Photography Blog for the actual basketball pictures. :)

Woot! Woot! Here I come Magic!

I Know, I know! Ya'll are very shocked to see that indeed I have posted a blog that has not one picture in it! ha. Don't let that fool you! Even though there may not be pictures in the post this is about pictures. ha. What else do you think I would post about? ha.
Coming from the girl who has never had an interest in basketball ever before and has never even watched a Magic game on TV, I"m so excited to be going to Magic game. For one and pretty much only one reason and that would be, yep you probably guessed it, for the AWESOME pictures that I will get. :) Yea Yea I know I'm obsessed but hey when you have an opportunity for that perfect picture ya just can't let it go by ya.
After I got home from school, Dad called and asked if I wanted to go to the Magic game tonight because he could get tickets from Nelson's if I wanted to. At first I was thinking pshh why would I want to go to a Magic game. Then on second thought, I realized the photography opportunities I would have. So the moral of this blog is look back later this week for pictures.
So yes I may not have a clue was is going on the game but Lord willing I will come home with a memory stick full of some pretty radd pictures. :)
